Clean Pipes Naturally

Clean_Pipes_Narurally.jpg“Now those are some good-looking pipes,” said no one ever… unless maybe you are a plumber. But don’t we all want some good looking pipes? If for no other reason than so you don’t have to wait several minutes for your sink to drain! Traditional drain and pipe cleaners contain harsh chemicals, which I’m sure you could guess. How else, is it supposed to blast through the grime and hair build up in your shower drain?! The bad news is that those effective chemicals are not only dangerous but can corrode your pipes in the long run.

But there’s a more natural solution, that’s also easier and cheaper than using a traditional cleaner. Check out this tip from Whole Living:                                                     "So long as no chemical-containing drain cleaner is present in the drain or standing water, try these steps to unclogging your drain naturally. First, boil 3 to 4 cups of water. Pour one cup each of baking soda and white vinegar into the drain, followed by the water. Wait for it to bubble its way down." If you've got a more serious drain issue, check out the full post here
