Now that many of us are fully immersed in the holiday season, time and money seem to be less available. The good news is, this DIY is perfect for anyone who is under a time {or budget} constraint. And, there’s no breaking down pallets!

Here’s what you’ll need:
Pallet parts (unless you really want to break them down on your own) – you can purchase them here
Sandpaper – this DIY’s author used 220 grit
Black paint – for behind the pallet pieces (there will inevitably be some gaps, and gaps in front of a black wall will be much less noticeable than a white wall)
Wood glue
Nail gun
Nails (this DIY’s author used liquid nails, however, if you use this method and decide to take the wall down, you’ll need to replace the sheetrock
Here’s what to do:
Start at the top (or bottom) of your wall – whichever end you’d prefer your smaller board to be at the opposite of – this DIY’s author chose to start at the top
Place your boards, changing up the spacing to create depth
If you’re using liquid nails, check out this post
If you’re using regular nails, use 1 ¼” length
Work your way down {or up} your wall
Fill any big noticeable gaps with the leftover pieces you have
