ECO Friendly Air Fresheners

Unfortunately the air in your home or in certain rooms of your home can become stale or musty. But you don’t have to live with it and refreshing the air in your room doesn’t have to involved aerosol sprays and chemical laden plug-ins. Helloglow.co has compiled a list of some all natural, DIY ways to improve refresh the air in your home using recycled materials!

 Diffuser

You can make your own diffuser using an old spice jar and combining ¼ a cup of water, ¼ a cup of vodka, and 20 drops of your favorite essential oil combination. Give it a stir and throw in some bamboo skewers or some old dried branches will do the trick.

 

Sea glass

Placing sea glass in a small bowl and adding a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil makes a pretty decorative piece as well as a good smelling addition to your home.

 

Orange Peel

Take an orange, cut it in half, scoop out the insides, and fill it with sea or rock salt. Sprinkle the salt with a few drops of orange essential oil and you’ve got yourself a citrusy smelling air freshener.
