A gallery wall is a cool, artistic way to display your favorite photos that is much different than the traditional scattering of frames throughout your home. There are many different ways to do a gallery wall in your home – it just depends on what style you prefer. After you pick your style, it’s fairly simple to map it out and hang your photos.
Styles
From bold to dainty and everything in between, your gallery wall style should match your home and your personal style.

Frames
After you have chosen the right style and layout, you’ll need to select what kind of frames to use. Do you want them all to be the same color and style and only vary in size? Do you want them all to be different? Much of this will depend on the style you have chosen.
Mapping
To ensure that you get the layout you’re shooting for, before you start hanging, map out your entire wall with some kind of markers. By doing this, you’re ensuring that your spacing will work the way that you want it to {and you can avoid random holes in your wall…}.
Hanging
Since you’ve mapped it all out, this part should be easy. Depending on your housing situation, you can use a traditional hammer and nails or removable hanging strips and hooks.
