Less Time, More Growth

Gardening is a natural component to warmer weather. Maybe you love it, maybe you’re just beginning to explore your green thumb or maybe you don’t even know the difference between top soil and sand (I’m in this category – it’s totally fine). Whichever stage of garden mastery you’re in, there are always ways to do it better and spend less time working and more time enjoying.

  • First, you’re on a mission to locate the most resistant and disease fighting types of plants. Don’t worry, you can still have gorgeous flowers without putting in a lot of time and effort – for example, annuals continuously bloom without the need for constant maintenance.
  • To save yourself time, arrange plants based on the amount of care that they will need. Put all of your thirsty plants together, separate your shade lovers from your sun bathers and keep ones that need regular pruning close, to keep from running circles around your garden.
  • If you are not a fan of daily trips to your garden shortly after dawn, consider investing in a timed watering system, utilizing a sprinkler system or soaker hose.

Follow these tips this summer and you’ll have an awesome garden and more time to enjoy it.
