Can You Use A 203k Loans to Create a Stunning Laundry Room?
I can’t explain my love of laundry room makeovers. I’m not sure if it’s because they are so utilitarian that thought of making it an appealing space means that you have really rounded out the look of your home? Maybe it’s because they are usually such small spaces that taking on this project does not mean big bucks (unless you are buying appliances)? Or maybe doing laundry is the worst so if you can work in a pretty space, it won’t be so bad? Heck, it’s probably all three reasons! I’ve been itching to dress up our “laundry room” (I should say closet) for some time now and I think I’ve found a great before and after on which to base it! Let’s look at the entry from Emerson Grey Designs. Of course, when you check out the pictures you can see that they purchased new appliances but all the other items I would think you could get for next to nothing, relatively speaking. I love, love, love the baskets under the counter that they added in! putting dryer sheets and stain remover in a basket is fine but if you can see down in it when you are doing the laundry it still looks a bit sloppy and if you put it up high where you can’t see the items, it’s a bit irritating to have to stand on tippy toes to get in it. But here, they can just slide out and then back in to hide the mess. AND if you decided to pull out the washer and dryer to clean the floor that counter is not in the way! And the decals on the back wall are just so cool!
