Stockton Grows Its Southern Roots
“North is a direction. The South is a lifestyle.” If that is true, Stockton Mortgage just got a little more southern. At the end of 2017, we added a branch in Maryville, TN, giving us a total of four offices in the state of Tennessee. The folks working at this office nestled in a city flanked by the college town of Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains, have embraced their community and its southern style.
They have already begun planning events for those in their community; such as an event for Veterans (more coming on this one) in May! The look of the office itself is purely southern with galvanized metal and its cool, soothing, light blue walls… and who could forget the cotton stems. Le Anne Grigsby, the branch manager, is a modern day southern belle. She is a woman who can manage a branch, secure you a home loan, pour you a glass of sweet tea and tell you a story in her sweet southern accent all with a smile on her face—never mind any “fires” going on in the background!
This fearless leader has an amazing team of mortgage bankers working with her. Allison Emmett was the first to come on board with Le Anne, as a proud military wife, she first got her start in real estate when her husband was stationed in North Pole, Alaska. Nicole Greene was the next to come on board; she was born and raised in the Maryville area and states, “I love the hustle and bustle of the mortgage industry. Each day is a new day with a completely different scenario.” Most recently this new office has added two more mortgage bankers from the Maryville area who bring with them many years of experience, Cindy Green and Larry Miller.
