Most of the time, you never consider your neighbor as one of your biggest selling points when you decide to sell your home – but neighbors play a huge role in potential curb appeal.According to Brendon Desimone, building good relationships with neighbors is important, because if issues arise during a sale (issues with easements or, well, you name it!), having good rapport can go a long way.
Keeping them in the loop is important too. When you go to sell your home, give them a heads up.
Another important piece of advice Desimone offers: offer to pay for exterior improvements. This could be a delicate conversation to navigate, but if you need your neighbor to work on their curb appeal in order for you to sell your home – you should expect to pay for it.
