We’ve talked a lot over the last few months about ways to incorporate money talks with your young ones into your everyday life which of course will help train them as well. But I found this amazing game that Karen from Teach Beside Me, developed. It is a board game that helps in making these dreaded discussions just a bit more fun!

Karen says, “this game is a great way to help kids realize how much life costs and how hard it can be to save and yet also how important it is.” The objective of the game is to be the first to save $1000. As you go around the board you will land on spend and save spaces. The save spaces give you money while the spend ones, of course, take it away. She has made it fun for kids by using items that they would likely spend their money on and when it comes to earning, things that kids could do for income.
