There are things that require maintenance that, as a new homeowner and former renter, may have flown completely under your radar. Some of these things, which require regular maintenance, can be hazardous if left unchecked. Here are six of them:

  • Air / Furnace Filters – Energy bill affecting
  • Sump Pump – Damage is costly
  • Gutters – Could Damage Foundation (if left unchecked)
  • Plumbing Winterization – Without it, can be costly
  • Yard – Fines exist for not keeping up with your lawn
