Appliances Lifespan

By Morgan Saylor

If you’ve purchased a home, you may have inherited some appliances along with it. Knowing approximately when those appliances were purchased can help you estimate those appliances lifespans!

Lifehack.org has created a cool infographic that will tell you the approximate lifespan for your appliances and how much it costs to replace, which can help you keep an eye out for what can be a costly purchase for your new home.

Did you know that your homes pipes have the longest estimated lifespan of 75 to 100 years? It’s also worth noting that your trash compactor might wear out before your microwave does!
