Sliding doors and barn doors are a trend that don’t appear to be going away anytime soon, and we’re happy about that! The best thing about sliding doors, apart from the fact they make a great feature in any home, is that they are actually very affordable if you’re prepared to DIY it!
Here are some things you’ll need:
- Your door(s)
- Casters (2 per door)
- 4 large eye screws
- Galvanized pipe
- Galvanized pipe elbow and mounting brackets
- Spray paint (as needed, because you might just enjoy the galvanized look of the pipe)
Putting it all together is almost too easy, but the end result is best illustrated by Crisp Interior Home’s sliding door, which was featured in Country Living.
