Floors 101

By Morgan Saylor

We are always on the lookout for any information that can help you settle into your home! If you’re looking to do flooring renovations, apart from debating what looks good, you should also be well-versed on what you’re installing.

Ceramic or Porcelain Tile

If you have pets, this could be a good pick for you, but might be a challenge to a do-it-yourselfer.

Floating Wood Tile

Not a good idea for someone whose tastes change often and you’re inclined to want to re-sand and stain, but they’re easy to install, replace, clean, and can be less costly than other alternatives.

Carpet

It can come in a large variety of texture, patterns, colors and styles and can increase warmth in the room by adding some layer of insulation, but is easy to stain.
