Simple To Stunning: Dreary Den Gets Brightened
As soon as I hear the word, “den”, I automatically think about the room that Mike Brady would retreat to with his architecture drawings in hand. So, when looking at the photos of John & Sherry’s first home and renovation project their den stood out to me. They managed to turn a dark, masculine, dated den into a bright, inviting, family room! They painted over the dark brick and paneling with a cream colored paint and put in the same hardwood floor that can be found throughout the house to give it a seamless, open feeling. They also widened the door way from the kitchen and to the sun room to encourage that same open feeling.
