Frankfort’s Office Renovation Wrap Up
Stockton Mortgage has been headquartered at 88 C. Michael Davenport Blvd for just around a decade.
Back then there were just a handful of employees and now David Stockton employs over 100 people across 20+ branches. As the business continues to grow, more room was required at the headquarters. In order to accommodate the growth, office renovation began mid- December of 2017. During the renovations the employees and customers of Stockton Mortgage have been so wonderfully flexible in accommodating the dust, noise and changes!
We are drawing to an end with the renovation project and thought we’d give you a little peek into the updates with some before and after photos!
Perhaps one of the biggest changes was David Stockton’s office; he inherited an oval office from the previous tenant, complete with a full bathroom, fireplace and putting green—none of which were frequently used.
Putting “Green”:
The shape of the oval office meant curved walls and odd configurations for the adjoining offices. Now everyone will have a rectangle office and straight hallways. Below is a peek into David’s new office (don’t worry, the maroon carpet is not staying).

Another big change to the building was the elimination of the “safe room”. The kitchen was enclosed in concrete walls for shelter during a natural disaster. While there were great intentions with the installation of this wall, it posed a challenge for the demo team! See below for the before and during… after pictures are coming!
The consensus is that everyone is ready for the project to be complete but coming in each day to discover the changes has been fun. Plus, we have had some comical moments throughout the process. Experiencing this together has certain brought the team closer together!

This week we can see the light at the end of the tunnel with paint on the walls and flooring being installed. All the excitement has led to talk about having an office warming party...
